Terms & Conditions – Stay @ Walvis Bay

By making a reservation via our online booking system (powered by NightsBridge), you agree to the following terms and conditions:


1. Booking & Payment

  • Bookings are made in real time via the NightsBridge system and are considered confirmed immediately upon payment.

  • Guests pay 100% of the booking amount upfront, typically via a secure PayBridge credit card form or EFT via NightsBridge.


2. Commission & Rates

  • The rates displayed include any commission payable to NightsBridge; there are no additional service fees charged to the guest.


3. Cancellations & Amendments

  • Guests must follow the cancellation policy of Stay @ Walvis Bay, which is shared during booking and displayed in the confirmation voucher.

  • Cancellations should be made directly in writing to Stay @ Walvis Bay. We recommend phone follow-up for cancellations within 7 days of arrival to ensure confirmation.

  • If refunds are due, they will be processed via NightsBridge / PayBridge through the original payment method, and any related commission adjustments will be applied.

  • Booking modifications (e.g., date change or length of stay) should be communicated directly with Stay @ Walvis Bay.


4. Check-In & Check‑Out

  • Check-in: from 14:00

  • Check-out: by 10:00

  • Requests for early check‑in or late check‑out may be accepted subject to availability and are best submitted through the ‘special requests’ field at time of booking or via contact with Stay @ Walvis Bay 


5. Liability & Guest Responsibilities

  • NightsBridge acts only as the booking technology provider and accepts no liability for loss, damage, or harm experienced at the property

  • Stay @ Walvis Bay disclaims responsibility for guest personal property loss or injury; guests enter the property at their own risk.

  • Guests are responsible for any breakage, damage, or loss of items during their stay.

  • Only registered guests may stay overnight; occupancy limits must be respected:

    • One-Bedroom Apartment: up to 2 guests

    • Two-Bedroom Apartment: up to 4 guests


6. Privacy & Data Protection

  • Guest personal data (name, contact, payment info, etc.) is processed by NightsBridge on behalf of Stay @ Walvis Bay in order to fulfill the booking contract (Namibian entity) 

  • NightsBridge acts as a data processor, with data retained only as necessary for bookings, invoicing, or statutory obligations.


7. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

  • These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Namibia.

  • Any disputes will be addressed within Namibian legal jurisdiction.


8. Support & Queries

  • For any booking-related questions—including cancellations or modifications—please contact Stay @ Walvis Bay directly using the contact info in your booking confirmation.

  • NightsBridge handles only the technological side and does not manage customer support for individual bookings
